Autism Safety

Autism is a developmental disability. Essentially it’s when a child’s mental and physical abilities development at a slower rate than a typically developed child. This means protecting a child with autism may require you to keep your safety protective aids in place past the traditional preschool years.  This means gates, door locks and alarms, furniture straps etc all need to remain within your home to keep your child safe possibly into their teen years depending on the level of your child’s disability.
